In our hurried lives, we oftentimes get so caught up in our daily grind that we forget about ourselves. Our simple advice to all you amazing ladies, never leave home without …lipstick, mascara and at least a pair of earrings.
Here at Wicked Wonders we believe in everything sparkle and shine, but we all get busy. Life gets crazy with the kids, work, chores, errands…you name it. You may find yourself running out the door to get the kids to school, barely able to see straight as you do your best to get everyone where they need to be. It’s easy to forget about ourselves as we are always doing for everyone else. We all feel it, and probably every single day. Honestly though, try this for one week and you will see how great it makes you feel and how much it changes your day. Wake up 5 minutes early, JUST 5 minutes. Do everything that you normally do, just take that extra 5 minutes to put on a little mascara, a nice shade of lipstick and a great pair of earrings! And yes, even on the weekends!
We mean no matter what, no matter where you are headed. Going to the grocery store? The gas station? The bank? Even the gym. Even if you are staying home! Just try it. It’s amazing what that 5 extra minutes and those three little additions will do for you.
You ladies work hard. You work so hard that you likely forget about YOU on a regular basis. Our suggestion is really not about mascara, lipstick or even earrings (although we’d be happy to sell you as many earrings as you want – LOL)…..this is about taking a few moments just for you. Treating yourself nice and caring about yourself for 5 minutes. Just try it.
Ever throw your hair up and toss on a pair of sweats to run to the grocery store, only to see about 5 people you know? You go to that damn store dozens of times and never see a familiar soul right? The day you go looking like a haggard mess, it’s like a social gathering! UGH. If you never leave home without your mascara, lipstick, and earrings….well, you get the point!
We love you ladies and we don’t think that life should ever dull your sparkle. So take that extra 5 minutes. Plump those lashes, rock that favorite lipstick, and wear some earrings that make you smile. Its super simple and just might change your whole day!
